Dr. Juan Luo, the Secretary of the China Chest Wall Surgery Alliance, has accumulated over 5 years of experience in various chest wall diseases. To date, Dr. Luo has been involved in the treatment of nearly 2,000 patients with chest wall diseases, including over 800 cases of chest wall deformity surgeries.
Dr. Luo is well-versed in the management of chest wall diseases, including chest wall deformities, chest wall infections, chest wall traumas, chest wall
tumors, and chest wall cosmetic issues. She is deeply involved in surgical procedures as well as postoperative monitoring and management. Given her extensive clinical experience, Dr. Luo excels in surgical techniques such as chest wall keloid scar excision, skin grafting, and flap transplantation. For instance, when addressing wound defects following chest wall tumor resection surgeries, she employs techniques such as skin grafting or localized flap transplantation instead of direct suturing. These approaches minimize wound tension and prevent secondary tearing, thereby promoting wound healing and enhancing patient recovery quality.
